Measurements

It is extremely important to correctly measure your head or your unit will not fit properly.

The Circumference

Measurement all around the head. Position tape measure so its edge follows the hairline around the head and the nape of the neck.

From Forehead to Nape of Neck

Measure from hairline at center of forehead straight back over crown to center of hairline at nape of neck.  Note: Place the tape measure at your hairline in the front of forehead while taking the measure to the hairline at the back of your Nape (neck).  Keeping in mind that your cap is glued to the outside perimeter of your natural hairline on your skin.   (Example Measurement: 14 inches).  Then ADD 1 inch to the measurement results.  This is VERY IMPORTANT.  If you do not add the inch, your wig will be too small and will not be able to be glued in front of your hairline.

Ear to Ear Across Front Hairline

At front of ear, measure from hairline at base of sideburn, up across the hair line along forehead to same point in front of other ear. (Example Measurement: 12 inches).

From Ear to Ear Over Top of Head

Measure from hairline directly above the ear across top of head to the hairline directly above the other ear. (Example Measurement: 13 inches).

Temple to Temple

From temple to temple across the back of head. (Example Measurement: 14  inches).  Note: Place the tape measure at your temple to temple point on each side of your head as shown in the picture.  Keeping in mind that your cap is glued to the outside perimeter of your natural hairline in this area as well.  Then ADD 1 inch to the measurement results.  This is VERY IMPORTANT.  If you do not add the inch, your wig will be too small and will not be able to be glued in front of your hairline.

Nape of Neck

Measure the width of hairline across the nape of the neck. (Example Measurement: 5 1/2 inches).
