What is a lace front wig?
A lace wig, also called a lace "unit" or "hair system", are hair extensions that create the illusion that hair is growing out of one's scalp, and therefore is one of the most natural looking extensions on the market.

Regular Wigs vs. Lace Wigs
The main advantage of the full lace wig over other styles is that one can wear their hair in up dos, ponytails, and other styles that expose one's nape area. Traditional wigs usually preclude these styling options. Lace wigs are also more lightweight and comfortable than traditional wigs due to the minimization of tension on the scalp.

What kind of hair is used? 
Our wigs are made of 100% Remy human cuticle hair. Hair is used from one donor (in some cases, it is necessary to use hair from two donors) and its cuticles are aligned in the same direction.

 Do I need to have any special styling skills to apply?  Yes, you can.  You don’t necessarily need a hair stylist but it depends on your own comfort level.  At this point, we do not sell accessories for application but you are welcome to buy from other companies on the net or locally.

I have a full head of hair but like to wear wigs.  Can I benefit as well?  Yes, you can.  You will need to braid your own hair as flat as possible strategically parting your own hair where you plan to part your lace wig.   Get your hair to lay as flat as possible.

Is it really undetectable?  

Yes, when applied correctly.  That’s what make the lace front so different from a traditional wig—it’s undetectable and it’s light.  You’ll forget you are wearing a wig. 

Can I wear the wig behind my hairline?
Yes, many of our clients do- especially ones with smaller foreheads who cannot afford the room to apply the wig in front of their natural hairline.

How long will  my wig last?  Your wig should last about a year or more depending on the overall care.
The life of your wig will depend on your use and care of it. If handled properly, it should last you 6 months to a year and even longer depending on your handling & use.

How long can I wear my wig at a time?Most people can wear their unit about 1-2 weeks.  It depends on what adhesives you use, your body chemistry and how much hair is involved underneath.  People with less hair tend to wear their unit longer.

Can I swim in it or play sports?
Yes, you can.

Can the hair be flat ironed or curled?
Yes, the hair is 100% human hair that you can use curling irons, flat irons.  You can wash, set and style like it’s your own hair.   However, like your own hair, you can damage if you misuse or overuse products.  

Can I part my lace wig and where can lace wigs be parted?
Lace wigs can be parted anywhere on the cap. If you are covering your hair, the trick is to have your parts look natural by either wearing a stocking or wig cap that is close to your skin's color.  You may also get a natural looking part without wearing a wig cap.
